During this course we will examine perspective as a visual tool to enhance your artwork. With instruction and tasks each week, the emphasis will be on making the theory work for us in practical ways.
Start Date (Weekly Zoom Meetings): Wednesday evening 7:00pm – 8,30pm
Weds 22nd, 29th September and 6th and 13th October.
4 weeks with 8 weeks access to the video demos and feedback opportunities.
Course Times: 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Skill Level: Suitable for beginners and as well as those with more experience. This “back to basics” course is designed as a refresher to build confidence.
Materials Needed: Sketchbook or drawing paper, tracing paper, a ruler, access to a printer, a range of drawing materials. Watercolours and suitable brushes.
Please note: My online workshops will run exactly as a face to face session does. I encourage each attendee to use their own individual subject matter for personal and unique end results. I will demonstrate adaptable techniques and processes in chunks, and guide you individually through your artwork. There is not an accompanying video for the workshops, as there is enough time in the sessions to complete the work.
The online courses are a little different in that there are videos for each lesson and an accompanying Facebook group that runs for double the duration of the course.
For all online classes and courses, you will need:
- To be able to print out your own images or use your own reference imagery/ objects. I will provide guidance on this when you book.
- You will need to use Zoom. There is no additional cost for this, but you may need to install an app.
- For courses you will need to use Facebook. You can create a profile just for this purpose if needed. Please ask if you need advice with this.
- To provide your own materials. I may have materials packs available to purchase though, with everything you need.
